Our library contains genealogical & history books dating back into the late 1600s. Our items are available to guests for $10 per hour. This includes up to 10 copies of documents, if copyright laws permit. If you don’t live in the local area or have a file or date in mind, please fill out our online Research Request form below.

- Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Series of the Pennsylvania Archives, with indexes to each series
- 600 books on family names. Surname files contain over 1600 files on local families
- The Reva Ashcraft and Leila Francy research records contain over 880 files on surnames related to West Virginia, Virginia and Ohio
- History books on Virginia from the 1600s up until the northwestern section became West Virginia. West Virginia records commenced in 1863 when West Virginia was created
- War records starting with the French-Indian Wars up to World War II
- Records from various Jefferson County churches from the early 1800s to present including Quaker records

- Records of first purchasers of land in the Seven Ranges of the Northwest Territory
