Offered to county high school seniors to compete for a $200 scholarship. Detailed information sent to the high schools in the early Spring, around February 24th. Topic is historical in nature. Award given at the time of high school recognition days. Judges are the Tri State Writers Society and the Board of directors for the Jefferson County Historical Assoc.
