The best way to get the full JCHA experience is to come see us. We have over a hundred artifacts on site, as well as a full library with access to genealogical material. Have a Group?
We welcome groups of all ages to visit JCHA. Our docents will provide tours of The Emma Carter and Alexander Beatty Sharpe Mansion and will be available to assist with historical research. Please notify us one month in advance for large groups.
Teaching a Class?
We encourage students to meet our history challenge: What do you know about your local history? How can you uncover more and why is it important? JCHA is the perfect place for young minds to explore the rich background of the world around them. We also work with teachers to ensure that our tours are helping to teach students what they need to know in order to meet education requirements.
